The Gettysburg Equestrian Historical Society is a small group of folks who have volunteered their time, talents, and efforts to preserve and maintain the horse trails at Gettysburg National Military Park. Most of us are horse-owners, but some are not. Owning a horse is not a prerequisite for membership!
We meet on a monthly basis to plan our events, discuss improvements (both major and minor) that would benefit the horse trails, and figure out the best way to get things done. Our monthly meetings are casual, informal, and fun. We meet the last Thursday of each month at Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, 1140 York Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We gather in a private room with lots of space for social distancing. Those wishing to dine with us arrive at 6:00pm. The meeting starts at 7:00pm and is open to all members.
Check the “news” section of our website for the date, time, and location of our next meeting – and for copies of the minutes of previous meetings.
